Big Mose Scouting Weekend (Photo Gallery)

Here's some photos from the weekend camp at Quattford.

Well done to all of our scouts for really putting some effort in and helping to make it a fun and worthwhile weekend for you and also for us as leaders.

Over the course of the weekend we covered a lot of knife and tool skills, cleared brash, built a large fire and a camp fire, completed a day hike and two night hikes and created a large scale map of the area, marking off things that the group had seen and experienced over the weekend.

A big thank you to Mick who ran the activities this weekend and kept our group entertained and informed from Friday evening through to Sunday.

Each of the group had plenty to say about what they'd enjoyed over the weekend and we've plenty to take away for the Wednesday meetings.

Below is a gallery of photos from the weekend..

And a short video of Ben taking out a tree with a long handled bill hook. Check out Mick's weaving when the blade heads backwards!
